bree + andy | save the date

bree and her fiance, andy, met jon and me for a quick save-the-date shoot on penn ave during rush hour yesterday. they threw off their jackets and went to town, jumping (literally) into traffic. this won't be the last you see of this adorable couple - they're getting married in november! 

p.s. jon was super jealous of andy's hat.

date night = roller derby.

jon and i headed to baltimore's du burns arena last weekend for our first roller derby bout. obviously, it was awesome. with names like bambi's revenge and deathany - how could it not be? here are a few photos from the night.

adam + krystal | engaged!

adam and krystal were awesome to photograph - they’re clearly best friends and were constantly cracking each other up. before the shoot, they mentioned cameras made them nervous -- but after goofing around a bit (and realizing our common ground in californication and food) the anxiety just seemed to melt. we walked up and down u st. -- stopping in love cafe to warm up and eat yummies. the wind was freeeeezing, but krystal and adam were troopers -- krystal especially, who was wandering the unplowed roads in heels. we finished the shoot at ben’s chili bowl for chili hotdog goodness.

we loved this shoot - it’s plain how happy they make each other and we had a blast documenting their bliss. congratulations and happy valentine's day, you two!
