for those of you with fake christmas trees, FEAR NOT. you can still have a little bit of the forest in your living room. enter: the tree stump. isn't she beautiful? you can thank the obscenely creative stephen and shauna over at something's hiding in here for this xmas inspiration.

what you'll need:

fake christmas tree, drill, paddle bit and scrap paper.

next, find an old stump (your local tree service should have some.)

then drill a hole with a 1" paddle bit.

insert the faux tree into the stump...and voila!

it's magical.
