joanna + mike | engaged!

joanna + mike used to run along the tidal basin surrounding the jefferson (which i think is magical since i can barely walk that route, let alone run it). so when it came time to pop the question, mike opted for that very place. he sent a car to pick up joanna at her apartment (yes, please!) + waited for her on the steps of the memorial. when he finally proposed, there was applause + cheering by crowds of tourists -- what’s more dc than that? then he whisked her away to the w hotel -- a super swanky hotel with a rooftop restaurant. not bad, mike. not bad at all.

congrats you two!! you are so sweet together + we loved meeting you!

molly + jack | engaged!

molly and jack met us a few hours before sunset at the gorgeous jefferson memorial. we managed to miss a massive cloud of tourists by mere minutes and had the memorial (more or less) to ourselves. the white marble made a beautiful backdrop for the light pastels donned by our lovebirds.

although a tad nervous at first, molly and jack quickly got the hang of things and were making out in minutes. when not kissing, these two were cracking each other up and it was evident jack is the cheese to her macaroni.
